I stick to 16:9 for my monitors (I should invest in an ultrawide, but I need at least the full 4K resolution and HDR for some of my other computer uses.), and things like Steam Link will actually stretch the display to fit the full length of your phone as best it can (For example, I use Citra or MelonDS, and have the screens side by side- Rather than fit the 16:9 model and leave black bars at the sides and top, because it's a stretched display, it'll fill up to the sides as best it can. Only annoyance is switching between aspect ratios (21:9 monitor, 18:9 phone, 16:9 TV, 16:10 tablet) so while ultra wide hacks are available for a lot of games I've settled on using 16:9 for everything for ease of switching.Īctually, you might have more fun with this than you know.
